Seattle Pride 2016

Here at Dumpling Tzar, we are gearing up ready to celebrate the many festivities of Pride this weekend at our locations in Capitol Hill and Fremont. If you’re unsure of the schedules and what’s happening around the city, we’d love to give you some pointers here!

Before we start talking about the celebrations, we’d like to first acknowledge the recent tragedy in Orlando. We mourn the senseless loss of lives along with the LGTBQ community and the rest of the world. This act of violence is a strong reminder that we must stand together against hate and ignorance to create a world where everyone is respected and loved without fear. Our hearts go out to all the families and loved ones of those taken too soon as well as those injured.

This year, Seattle Pride takes on special meaning. We celebrate freedom and love, remember lives lost and all those who came before us and join together in community and friendship. At Dumpling Tzar in Capitol Hill, we’ve decked out our shop with flags and as always are committed to creating a safe space where everyone is welcomed to enjoy delicious food and cocktails all year round. We will also be donating a portion of the proceeds from the weekend to the surviving victims in Orlando aid them in their recovery.
